Emily Clark is a librarian who has been trying hard to repay school loans by working two jobs and driving an old car. She lives in an apartment building next door to a single woman and her son, Tucker. One day, Tucker meets Emily outside the building carrying a bag of junk food and announces that his mother is not home and he has nowhere to go. Emily takes Tucker under her wing and finds out that his father lives in the same town. Tucker shows her the way to his place of business and they eventually find him at his club. Tucker’s father is Reb, the prez of a biker club. Not only is he big, muscular and handsome, Emily immediately feels the attraction between the two of them. I was really engrossed in this story as I read a well-written plot and enjoyed deep, intriguing characters. The story was full of twists and hot, steamy sex. Definitely a great read for lovers of contemporary romance.
