Maverick Davis is back in town after ten years on the rodeo circuit. Too many head injuries has lead him to give up what he loved most in life, including Leighton Elizabeth James. Leigh is so surprised to see Maverick back in town, but it’s hard to overcome the anger that she felt when he left town. Leigh has changed into a beautiful, independent business woman but she is reluctant to open her heart to another possibility of heartache. The story revolves around the two characters finding their way back to each other. I enjoyed the story and think that it would be enjoyable for those who love contemporary romance.
