Will and Greta have been best friends since elementary school. Greta gets a birthday present from Will that is perfect! His gift is a handsome man, Mac, who loves poetry and sends beautiful, romantic texts to Greta making her swoon. Greta is a librarian in her hometown public library. She loves her job and gets involved in a series of events trying to raise money to benefit the library. There is also an important election to decide if the town wants to support a tax hike to fund the library. During the entire process, Greta is falling for the handsome Mac. She’s decided that he’s the perfect guy for her; are is he? A sweet story that tells the age-old story, you might not need what you think you want! I enjoyed the confirmation to the reader that texts can be an unreliable way of professing emotions. The library story was a real thing to me with advances in technology, libraries must conform to become relevant to today’s population. Enjoyed the story and recommend this book to everyone!
