Leonie Charnock is one of the “spinsters” that is making another appearance in the ton after once again not being able to find a husband. Her family is extremely wealthy but her father is willing to give any amount that he can for Leonie to get a husband with a title. The Earl of Rochdale has just inherited his title, but he must marry someone to give him money. He sees Leonie and decides to wed her immediately. She agrees but has a stipulation that she will not share the marriage bed. An enjoyable and satisfying historical romance that has plenty of likable characters and an engaging plot. A wonderful read for anyone who loves romance.
