Max was a professional hockey player until things changed his life forever. He’s just beginning to get back in shape and back to hockey when he meets Kendra. She’s from New York City and visiting a relative when she meets Max. They decide that a real relationship is out of the question but they plan to have a night together anyway. Great characterization and an engaging story of second chances make this book a good addition to Contemporary Romance.
