Mateo Lopez is working as a horse trainer after receiving a medical discharge from the US Marine Corps for a spinal cord injury. Some days he is barely able to make it through the day without horrible pain that make it hard to even move. Claire Windsor comes to the ranch from England as a new trainer to begin training horses for therapy use. Mateo is not sold on the idea but he works with her as the two become friends and more. I absolutely LOVED this story! I’ve read many contemporary romance books but this is one of the sweetest, most heartwarming story in a long time! Beautifully written and lovingly told, this book stands out as a giant in its genre.
