Deep Harbor by Fern Michaels

Best-selling author Fern Michaels once again presents a mystery/thriller with some romance to sweeten the plot. In this book, CJ (Carol) is the assistant to Congressman Snapper Lewis when she sees an unknown man threatening Snapper in his office. Later, the Congressman is found dead in his office and it is ruled a suicide. CJ can’t believe that Snapper would take his own life and she digs into the situation and finds that there may have been some criminal activity in his past. Afraid that she may be in harm’s way, CJ runs away to a town in New England where she becomes close to a boat captain. Great characters plus a thrilling story make this a four-star book for me!

Thanks to Kensington Books for allowing me to read and review this book.
