I have been a long-time reader of author Robyn Carr and have loved every book that I’ve read. However, this tale of a man and a woman each going through their painful divorce was not my favorite. I did not care for the story at all. It was depressing, with an awkward plot and characters that were extreme stereotypes. This book was such a huge departure from Robyn Carr’s best-selling series, Virgin River. I guess that I expected something more like those titles so I give this book three stars.
